Pull Up a Chair: Bellevue Has an Open Seat on the East King Chambers Coalition

Bellevue Chamber  |  October 7, 2026

Are you tired of the state legislature passing bad bills? Do you have ideas for how legislators can better support small businesses and economic growth in the state? We’ve got just the opportunity for you.

The Bellevue Chamber is part of the East King Chambers Coalition with 10 other chambers of commerce in eastern King County, and we work together to advocate for pro-business and pro-growth policies in the state legislature.

Bellevue has an open delegate seat, and we are looking for chamber members to fill it! Ideally, we are looking for someone who can be a voice for small businesses and wants to contribute as a working member of the group. You don’t need to have tons of experience in state policy, just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive in.

Delegates typically meet on the fourth Thursday of each month during lunch, and the Coalition votes on its final legislative priorities in November. If you're interested, email Patrick Hanks at patrick@bellevuechamber.org. Not based in Bellevue? Other Eastside chambers have open seats too, and we're glad to point you to the right one.
